The Postcard Nostalgia and like2Stay websites are both
dedicated to my late Mother who passed away whilst on holiday
at the Golden Sands Holiday Village in Mablethorpe
Lincolnshire. Receiving and keeping the postcard that she had
written meant a lot to me hence the idea of postcard Nostalgia
which has seen many visitors from all over the world, there
are those that just quietly browse, and those along with
former staff etc who have stories to tell, which is lovely
because it has become more of a community website and we are
very lucky that people contribute postcards, which add to our
galleries.
Later it then seemed fitting to tie it in with like2Stay, why,
well when I was younger I craved for my holidays, my Dad
worked very hard and was often busy, holidays meant we as a
family all had dedicated time together, and when I was older
it was just great to get away for the odd break, but money was
always extremely tight and holidays advertised started cheap
but then soon added up with so called extras, even if this was
paying for electricity that we never expected, then there were
children's clubs or swimming pool not open on those dates. to
places being advertised near bigger towns. I now hope that the
like2Stay website offers honest practical information, we list
all our accommodation from where they actually are, this means
you can compare choices etc from that one place, also if one
choice is full or out of your budget range then you can see
any other choices nearby.
I know and am proud of the fact that we have helped many
people find holidays and it really is fantastic that something
more has become of this. As well as our appreciation to those
that visit and support us I would also like to say a "Big
Thank You" to all the many companies that have now joined
our websites, they allow us to use their images and copy
information etc. We now have most of the UK biggest brand
names on our websites which is great for every individual or
family looking for a holiday or break. 2010 has seen a clearer
look for the website and after listening to visitors feedback
we are moving all advertising to the right hand side of every
page.
Also new for this year are the budget hotel links near to
hospitals etc, where we now show either the nearest 5 choices
of accommodation or choices within a 20 mile radius, no
messing around you simply click through and see the prices and
availability. These are only for England at the moment but
certainly will soon include Scotland & Wales. everything
we do is checked and then written by ourselves so new ideas
can take time before we completely finish.

The success and growth of like2Stay.co.uk is without doubt based on the trust between us and you. We have never
asked of anything from visitors to our website except to visit
and support our website whenever you are in need of a holiday
or short break (and of course tell their friends, relatives,
work colleagues about us. This very simply will create better
search engine results, making like2Stay easier to find and
eventually creating more visitors using our up to date information, choices &
trusted links. Allowing us to grow our portfolio which already
includes many well known big brand names, with others joining
such as the famous familiar name "Butlins" joining
us in 2010 along with the well known hotel brand Best Western
Hotels and also we can now announce Forest Holidays who have 5
(soon to be 6) cabin parks within the forestry commission
estate.
We don't have any small print on this website, we certainly
don't have any pop-up spam or blind corners. We do not offer
sponsored or paid results and under no circumstances will
results be in anything except in relevant order, on most pages
this will be alphabetical, and included from this month (Jan
2010) there are some in order of distance. Where distance has
been used then this refers to quoted distance between two
postcodes.
We as a company do not own any accommodation for rental
purposes, neither do we charge any member of the public for
using this website where we offer general information solely
for convenience. We hope our information is correct but
encourage everyone to further check for suitability before
actually making a booking on any third party website. We do
not accept any liability for any types of losses whether the
losses were foreseen, foreseeable, unforeseen, unforeseeable,
known, unknown or otherwise. This means that by using our
website you can make no liability claims for losses through us
if we give incorrect information, however it does not affect
any information given by third parties which is with whom your
contract would be with if you actually make a booking.

We encourage links to and from our website, these can be just written
descriptive links, or images with your name or logo, these can
either go to your index page or to individual pages so your
visitors can view something that directly relates. Being a
family orientated website there are some categories that we
consider unsuitable to link with. We also do not accept any responsibility
for third party links for which we are unable to monitor.
Advertisements & Banners may be included on pages at our
discretion, providing they are of
relevance either through brand or reference. We reserve the
right to remove them if they are out of date, irrelevant,
incorrect size, or are no longer working properly. Normally we
do not cross advertise on individual branded pages, however if
that brand is not using the space, or has let their advertisements
get outdated, then we reserve the right to use other travel
related advertisements on their page, although this would not
normally be a rival company. On communal pages then unless
otherwise agreed it will be solely our decision what banners
and advertisements are used, however any agreement on
allocated space on communal pages is subject to them working
and being in date, if not we reserve the right to replace
them.
